Military Diver Sonar
The DLS series diver-held sonar uses audio tone to locate small objects up to 120 meters away in poor to zero visibility. The DLS-2A is designed to be non-magnetic and is critical in locating underwater mines for explosive ordnance disposal. The DLS-1, its magnetic cousin, is used by search and rescue teams worldwide and has been critical in supporting aircraft salvage efforts.
Where imaging is necessary, the DDIS-500 diver held sonar with built-in autonomous navigation is the solution. Design for detecting and identifying subsea mines and salvage operations, the DDIS-500 is state-of-the-art.
DDIS-500 DIVER VISUAL SONAR
The DDIS-500 visual sonar is used to detect and identify underwater mines by clearance divers in poor visibility conditions and is certified to STANG 2897 for a low-magnetic signature. The DDIS-500 also uses a low-light video camera with adjustable LED light to capture images of subsea objects. All data is stored on a removable USB drive.
